High-Tech Features

Push Start

The Honda Accord and Toyota Camry offer lots of advanced technologies to help keep you connected and entertained. They both come standard with 7-inch infotainment systems with Bluetooth® capability to stream audio or make hands-free phone calls.

They also each offer HD Radio™, plus a trial subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. The latter gives you over 150 channels of commercial-free music, plus news, comedy, sports, and more. Plus, the Accord offers Pandora®, along with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration. Simply plug in your phone to the vehicle’s USB drive, and your music playlists, podcasts, text messages, and more will appear on the available 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen.

Unfortunately, Pandora® and Android Auto™ aren’t offered at all in the Camry.

Interior Space & Amenities

The 2019 Accord and 2019 Camry offer plenty of room for up to five passengers. For example, the Accord has 42.3 inches of front legroom, 40.4 inches of rear legroom, and 105.6 ft3of passenger volume. The Camry, while still spacious, offers just 42.1 inches of front legroom, 38 inches of rear legroom, and 100.4 ft3of passenger volume.

The Accord also has 16.7 ft3of trunk space to easily fit your grocery bags, luggage, and other items inside. The Camry has only 14.1 ft3of trunk space, which means you might not be able to get all your needed items inside the car like you could in the Accord.

But both vehicles have heated front seats available. However, the Accord also offers heated rear seats, so that everyone on board can get nice and cozy on chillier nights. Plus, the Accord comes standard with dual-zone automatic climate control. This allows the driver and front-seat passenger to select their preferred temperature setting, so that no one stays too hot or too cold.

To get that feature in the Camry, you need to upgrade to a higher trim level.

Performance Specs

The 2019 Honda Accord comes standard with a 1.5L turbocharged and intercooled 4-cylinder engine that delivers 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Plus, it has an available 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that puts out 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.

Meanwhile, the 2019 Toyota Camry has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that delivers just 203 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque.

The power in the Accord doesn’t compromise its fuel-efficiency, as it can achieve an EPA-estimated 30 city MPG in its mid trim level.* On the other hand, the mid trim level in the Camry achieves an EPA-estimated 28 city MPG. While it may not seem like a huge difference, it’s definitely noticeable if you’re often in stop-and-go traffic.
