When you’re trying to find the best SUVs and crossovers for your adventures out on the roads of Glendora, El Monte, and La Puente, you may want to check out the Honda selection. Honda SUVs and crossovers are highly rated due to their sophisticated features, their strong and efficient performance, and the ample space and comfort provided to the passengers. They’ve been recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report for being some of the top SUV choices in today’s market.

At Norm Reeves Honda Superstore West Covina, we’re going to delve in and take a look at the Honda SUV lineup. Keep reading to see if one of these models meets your needs and piques your interests!

Honda Pilot

The Pilot is certainly the largest of the Honda SUVs because it includes three rows and seats up to eight passengers. The vehicle is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine which delivers 280 horsepower, 262 lb-ft of torque, and can tow 3,500 lbs—or 5,000 lbs with the All-Wheel Drive setup.

The Honda Pilot offers 152.9 cubic feet of cabin space for its passengers. In terms of headroom, the front row includes 40.1 inches, the second row features 40.2 inches, and 38.9 inches of headroom in the rear. As for legroom, there’s 40.9 inches in the front, 38.4 inches in the middle, and 31.9 inches of legroom in the third row. The Pilot also offers 16 cubic feet of cargo space that can expand to 82.1 cubic feet when the second and third rows are folded down.

Honda CR-V

The Honda CR-V is the next step down, and is classified as a crossover, due to its combination of ample space and its tight and bordering-compact body style. This agile crossover includes a 184 horsepower-capable 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, but offers a 190 horsepower-capable 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine with the higher trims.

The CR-V can accommodate five passengers over two rows of seating. There’s 40.1 inches of headroom in the front and 39.2 inches in the rear. In terms of legroom, the front offers 41.3 inches and the rear offers 40.4 inches. This crossover also offers 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space, which boosts to 75.8 cubic feet when the second row is folded down.

Honda HR-V

The HR-V is a more compact Honda crossover than the CR-V. It includes the 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that’s capable of producing 141 horsepower. Like the previous crossover, it offers enough seating for five passengers over two rows, with a total of 100.1 cubic feet of cargo space.

Front row passengers get 39.5 inches of headroom and 41.2 inches of legroom, while passengers in the rear get 38.3 inches of headroom and 39.3 inches of legroom. The HR-V crossover offers 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats which can expand to 58.8 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down.
